Brittany Handler
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Brittany spent the first 18 years of her life eating gooey buttercake and toasted ravioli. She began officially performing when she was six years old after a full year of pretending to be a cat, watching Anastasia everyday, and forcing her little sister to play the boring parts when acting out Disney movies, Harry Potter books, and Charmed. At 11, Brittany started watching the Daily Show and Colbert Report back to back every day after school. Eleven years later, she graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She now lives in Chicago, where she likes to put ketchup on her hot dogs and loves the taste of Malort.
Brittany frequently performs all around Chicago at various comedy venues. Currently, she can be seen in a self written princess satire, Adira, at the Annoyance on Wednesdays in January. She also writes for The Pink Canoe, a satirical women's magazine where she specializes in writing political satire.
When not performing, Brittany is spending time with her family, dog, and her yoga mat, talking about Hillary Clinton, and missing the Rockies. The mountains, not the team.
